Desert Crown

This leaf succulent is huge, growing up to 132 feet tall. The large water-storing leaves are green and tipped with cyan and have cream-colored patches. The small water-storing leaves are all cyan colored. The large leaves are very heavy and hard to detatch. This plant takes 5 years to mature. Once mature, several giant flowers bloom at the top, like a crown. The petals are long and thin and a bright yellow-orange gradient.

The skin of this succulent is thick and nearly impenetrable. It contains a brown tinted sap with hallucinogenic properites.

These plants are very common, sometimes forming sparse desert forests.
