Dragonscale

This tree is exceptionally tall and rare. It grows up to 250 feet tall. It only exists in one small forest of Dragonscale trees. No one is sure how long they have been around, so it is unknown how long they live.

The Dragonscale's trunk is thick and wavy and covered in impenetrable mahogany-colored bark. The branches are long and mostly concentrated towards the top. They are covered in smooth, shiny leaves that appear in cool toned colors such as aquamarine, dark blue, purple, periwinkle, green, and cyan. They are about 8 inches long and shaped like dragon scales, which is where these trees get their name.

Every 20 years, these trees produce small amounts of small fruit with a thick, spiky skin. They come in red, green, or yellow. These fruits contain one small seed, which have never sprouted whe planted by human hands.
