Fire Egg Fruit
The Fire Egg Fruit grows on the Spotted Willow tree.It has a waxy red skin that, though bitter, can be eaten when roasted.The skin is usually added to savory dishes as a garnish and for its nutritional value. The center is a yellow-orange color and is very sweet. It has the soft, smooth texture of custard. It is eaten by itself straight from the fruit or cut into slices. This fruit is averaged sized and can fit in one hand, though significantly larger than the tree's flowers and leaves. They contain around 5-8 small round black seeds that are discarded when eating the fruit.
